There were rumors that Google+ was dead. We do know that Google is not making improvement, but it is still alive and well. It is still a good place to post and have discussion. It can also help provide information about your company when someone searches on Google and also provides SEO benefits.

Google+ will show your verified link on your profile. There are two places this will be located. The first is above the follow button on your page. The second is in the about us section.

Google+ Still Helps With SEO

Google+ posts still have search engine relevancy and will show as unique posts in search results. Make sure to optimize your post to include relevant keywords and hashtags.

Use Google Plus Local Business Pages

By having a local business page, you will have a professional profile that will help potential customers learn more about your business. The page will show in search results and provide hours of operations to people that search and find your business.

Having a business page will also allow you to participate in discussions and facilitate hang outs.

Use Groups Effectively

You should create and join in community groups. You can create a passion group to discuss elements that relate to your business or you can join in the discussion on other user’s groups.
