Collect Email Addresses on Facebook Without a Form

Facebook Lead Ads

Facebook already allows you to add call to action buttons to ads on their platform. With Lead Ads you will not be able to add a “subscribe” button to your ads and collect email addresses and whatever other information you may find helpful.

Here is the information that will be available:

  • Full Name

  • Email

  • Street Address

  • Phone

  • Zip

  • City

  • State

  • Country

  • Company Name

  • Job Title

Once the user clicks submit, they will be shown the information that is shared with the advertiser and will then have to click submit.

In the past, marketers needed to create landing pages that would direct users away from Facebook. This would create friction and the conversion rates were low. Next, Facebook allowed forms to be hosted on an “app” page on their platform. This also pulled people away from their streams. Now, users can interact with the ad, then continue on with what they were doing.

This will be helpful on mobile devices since the experience will be better since they will not need to leave the Facebook app or stream.

Facebook is currently testing this feature, but we hope that it will roll out soon. Will you use it once it is available?
