Do you use hashtags? Most people think that they are only for Twitter, buy they have been growing more popular with other channels such as Facebook, Instagram and even email marketing.

Hashtags allow users to search for posts and is useful in marketing. It allows your posts to last longer than a few moments or hours. If you post an update and use a hashtag such as #iPhone and someone searches for that hashtag in a day or so, they may be able to locate that post. With a Facebook post that does not include the hashtag, that post could become buried pretty quickly. The same thing with Instagram.

Be careful not to use too many hashtags, as it will confuse and water down your post. At the most, you should use three hashtags. Also, make it relevant to your post so that it users do not feel like your post was a bait and switch.
