This is Hank Hoffmeier with a marketing and business tip.
If you are new to running Facebook ads, be careful about how you look at your results. If you run an ad and you found it to be successful, do not go ahead and just automatically throw a lot more money at it. In other words, you do not want to increase your ad budget by more than 10 to 30%.
By doing that or more than doubling your spend, you will throw off the algorithm process that Facebook uses to serve your ads. In the long run, your ads will not be as successful as they were the first time.
What you want to do is slowly increment your spend up, maybe about 5 to 10%, and make sure not to make other changes to your ad or your spend for at least 24 hours. Let the settings “bake in” and let the results show for themselves and then go ahead and make some changes.
So again, just a reminder be cognizant of what type of changes you are making to spend and copy on your Facebook ads.
