Hank’s Marketing and Business Tip #28: Instagram Pods

This is Hank Hoffmeier with a marketing and business tip.

Instagram is a very popular social media network and one thing is very challenging is to have your posts become very popular or obtain a large audience.

A while back, I had a tip on using hashtags to help your post become found. But today, I would like to talk about something called “Instagram Pods”.  Instagram pods are basically a group of like-minded creatives who agree to comment like each other’s work in hopes that it will become more visible to other users. Now, there are some rules to these Instagram pods. You are not allowed to use emoji, you really need to put quality into your posts.

What this could ultimately do is help boost more engagement on your posts. One downside is there is a possibility that only folks that are within your industry or niche are the only ones seeing these posts if the only warning ones engaging with your posts are the folks in your pod. It is definitely worth trying to find a group that can help boost the engagement for your posts and maybe augment that with some organic posts.
