This is Hank Hoffmeier with a marketing and business tip.
I am joined today by Lori Bruhns. She is a business productivity and success coach. What I like for her to do is provide some tips that will help you be more productive in running your business.
Lori: Thank you for having me today Hank.
Hank: No problem. I was hoping that you can provide a quick tip to someone that wants to be more productive.
Lori: Sure. When working with my clients, I like to help them know that their skills are what they need to harness to have a successful business. So, my number one tip is do what you do best, and delegate the rest.
As entrepreneurs, we have a lot going on within our business and within our lives. If we can learn to harness we do best, and delegate the rest, will be more efficient and effective in growing our business.
Hank: When you talk about delegating, can you tell the folks listening how they would go about delegating and what are some of the items that I can delegate as a business owner.
Lori: Sure. So, when I say delegate I am talking about tasks that do not increase your ROI immediately. For example, something like bookkeeping. Yes, you need to get it done, but not necessarily by you. If you can delegate bookkeeping and do what you do best, such as marketing yourselves, sales calls, closing the deals, I highly recommend that. So, once again, do what you do best, delegate the rest. And the way you figure it out is what tasks he gives the most ROI.
Hank: How about some social media content, content in general, or maybe doing some mailings or phone calls, like using a virtual assistant to help with some of those tasks. Do you think that that something that could be done?
Lori: Actually, that is one of the best ways to utilize delegation. Having someone that knows you and your content really well will help you reach more people more quickly efficiently and effectively.
