Hank’s Marketing and Business Tip #60: Buffer Tasks

Transcription:

This is Hank Hoffmeier with the marketing and business tip

I am once again joined by Lori Bruhns, a business productivity and success coach and she is going give us a tip on how to be productive.

Lori: Thanks again for having me Hank, I appreciate this. So, today’s tip is called “buffering your tasks”. When you are setting up your calendar, I like you recommend buffering one task to another, meaning put in 1 to 2 minutes of time so that you can do it brain shift from one task to another. For example, if your first task requires you to be on the computer, and your second task needs you to use your verbal skills, it is good to have a one to two minute buffer time, so that your mind can shift from tactile to verbal.

Hank: That is awesome. Lori is available to work with small business owners. So if you are just getting started or have been in business for short period of time and would like to talk to Lori for 30 minutes, for free, please head over LoriBruhns.com/jumpstart.
