When attending conferences, I feel that it is important to attend the reception events and any other activities involved with the show that involve networking.
I recorded this episode while attending the RXInsider conference in Providence, RI. I attended the reception event and the dinner the following night and met some great people.
I like to learn about new industries and what people are passionate about. I like to learn how I can help them and how they may be able to help me. I also want to support what they are doing and hope they will do the same.
I feel that not enough people go to these networking events and tend to only go to the sessions. They are missing out on an opportunity to grow their network and learn new things.
