Today I am joined by USA Today bestselling author Russell Nohelty as we discuss how to build an audience from scratch. We owns both the Wannabe Press and The Complete Creative Training academy.
You have to know your audience well enough so that you can offer the right product and services. Russell says that there are three parts to business:
- Making a profit
Market to the right audience and get to now them. Look at your best customers if you are in business or if you are starting out, start talking to people to learn about what they need and want and ask questions. Find someone that likes you, but not enough to lie to you.
Learn the psycographic information to help you sell and market your product or service. Using demographics helps you learn how to market too, but not the how.
In sales, people know they have a problem, but the do not know how to solve it. Make sure you craft messaging from what you learn from people to you speak to and get feedback from.
