Hank’s Marketing and Business Tip #16: Copyright

Transcription:

This is Hank Hoffmeier with your Marketing and Business Tip for today.

What I would to discuss today is your website. If you have a website you want make sure you keep the copyright information at the bottom of your page up-to-date. Especially now that we are in a new year, 2017, if you have 2016 in your copyright in your footer, make sure you get that updated there is nothing that will deter people from buying from you if you were an e-commerce website and you’re looking to sell products than having outdated copyright or SSL certificate, which is a secure certificate on your website.

Make sure both of those are up-to-date, but most importantly, the copyright is a good way to make people trust that are buying from you and that you are keeping your website up-to-date with information and security.
