Transcription: This is Hank Hoffmeier with a marketing and business tip.
Today let’s talk about videos and how to make them engaging for your audience. One thing that you can do is use video for is to make how-to videos. If you sell a product, you can explain how to use your product, and why it is effective, and why it is valuable.
If you are selling a service, it could be basically a review of what your service entails, referrals or testimonials from current clients.
Video is a powerful way to get your message across and people love to watch videos. Most importantly what you want to do is make sure that they are engaging, maybe even fun. There is nothing worse than having dry content in a video because what will happen is people will tune out early and close the window, therefore making your message ineffective.
Make sure that you record your video edit it, make sure the sound is professional and have somebody look at it, whether is is a family member or friend. Run it by them or maybe a couple of people to ensure you have a quality video that you can post.
That is all for today’s tip. If you missed the previous tips, and would like to hear them, go to HankHoffmeier.com/Alexa or you can go to iTunes and subscribe to the podcast.
Thank you for tuning in and hope to see you next time
