Instagram Now Supports Posting Up to 10 Photos as a Carousel

Instagram

With it’s most recent update, Instagram is not allowing users to post up to 10 photos as one time, as a scrollable carousel.

Users will see the update available over the next few weeks. The update kind of resembles the way the carousel ads on Facebook and Instagram now work.

Users no longer need to pick their best image, they can share a bunch at once. There will be an option to select multiple images or videos. You will also be able to edit each item individually or you can just choose one filter for all the images and videos. You can also choose the order of the posts and tag people in each image or video.

The caption and comments will apply to the whole carousel post. Another thing is that only square format is supported.

Users will know that it is a carousel post be seeing a set of dots on the post. This will inform the viewer that they need to swipe on the post to see the other images or videos.

Now you may be encouraged to take and use more of your images or videos! What do you think about the update?
